Evidence-based writing in healthcare & public health

I came to public health writing from both sides of my brain: the part that loves good sentences and the part that wants solutions. I earned an Associate of Arts in Writing, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Washington, and my Master of Public Health at Dartmouth. That mix has shaped the way I work. I care deeply about getting the facts right, but I also know that even the best research falls flat if it sounds like it was written by AI. My work ranges from research synthesis and evidence-based writing to creative, human-centered storytelling that helps health information feel clear, honest, and alive. Whether I am translating complex public health ideas into something people can actually use or telling stories that make healthcare feel more human, I aim to create writing that is thoughtful, impactful, and impossible to ignore.
